This weekend we went to Amsterdam. Robert and I couldn't even remember last time being there. And what do you do in Amsterdam? You make a 'cruise' through all the famous canals of Amsterdam. Julie and Fleur really enjoyed it.

Of course you can not pass all the very interesting looking small cafe's and restaurants you see when wandering through town. So we often stopped to have a break. Robert and Julie are eating proper apple cake in De Bakkerswinkel on the Zeedijk. Picture by Fleur. 
We also had dinner in this famous neighbourhood of the Wallen (red light district). Linda recommended us a really good Thai restaurant. On Sunday after a lazy breakfast we went to the Van Gogh Museum. It was better than we all had expected! It was really cool to see some of the most famous paintings in the world by yourself. They were very nice and brightly colloured. After a nice lunch in the very chique street of Van Baerle we went home.
